Our initial product was marketed solely towards the vision impaired, but we realized we could help a wider audience. After revision, we created Smart-Step as a walking assistance tool which can be used by anyone and everyone. We conducted need-finding studies, received peer evaluations, and tested multiple iterations of our smart-cane in order to create the most efficient, enjoyable experience for our users.
